I have Directv but do not subscribe to HD channels through them. If I buy an HDTV indoor antenna will I be able to get those HDTV channels that they offer?

    As the other responder said, NO!

    The only channels you might be able to get with an indoor antenna (and only if you are close enough) are your local HD broadcast channels.

    With an antenna, you’ll only be able to get your local broadcast channels (NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, CW, PBS, Telemundo, Univision, Ion, MNT, and any local independent stations).

    No ESPN, MTV, ComedyCentral, CNN, Fox News, etc.

    But maybe that’s enough. Free is pretty attractive right now.
