Hook audio out from TV to Audio in on amp, then wire up the speakers. If you don't go this route, the speakers you buy can only be the same wattage as the ones in the TV. You can get these relatively cheaply these days, but you get what you pay for. If the TV is a small one for a bedroom, you might do better to take the ANALOG audio output and run that into a set of PC speakers with subwoofer.
