   try removing the yellow,red and white cables from the ps3 and tv and only try the hdmi cable. This should work.

   remove the y/r/w cable first (shouldn’t be necessary, but maybe it’ll help). also, make sure your tv is set up to display input from the correct HDMI port. the tv won’t automatically “guess” which input you want it to display, so you have to tell it. not sure what your remote is like but there should be a button labeled “source” or something like that; change it to the HDMI port you want (1, 2, 3, etc.) and it should work. Otherwise, maybe you just have a faulty HDMI cable.
